Madonna insists, "Music makes the people come together." Too exaggerating? Nah! It may happen with a large probability. I believe in the healing and soothing power of music. Songs may be classified as pop, R&B (rhythm and beat), alternative, rock, hip-hop, jazz, folk, etc. People have a different taste for songs. Some like popular songs, others, the deafening heavy-metal rock, while others enjoy almost all. For me, it doesn't matter what type it falls as long as the song is good. I first rate it with the tune, then the lyrics, then the instruments, then the singer or voice. One problem I see on other people is that even the song is good, they don't want to admit it because they don't like the artist. For example, they don't enjoy listening to Garbage. Their song "Androgyny" is good, but they don't admit it because they hate the artist. I'm not like that. On bands, in my opinion, Linkin Park, Wheatus, and Sugar Ray are the best rock groups for me because they utter not a single bad word unlike Blink 182 and Limp Bizkit, and their songs are pretty great!
